Aluminum Acetate, Granular with some dark specks

Aluminum Acetate is sometimes preferred over Aluminum Sulfate to mordant cellulose fibers and fabrics. It is the salt of aluminum, hydroxide, and acetate. Natural dyes can develop to a richer shade on cellulose when mordanted with Aluminum Acetate.

Use at 5-8% WOF.

NOTE: This Aluminmm Actetate is manufactured as a granular powder with small dark specks throughout. It has been tested and performs as expected for it’s uses in mordanting. Prepare as usual for Aluminum Acetate. We also offer the soft, fine powdery Aluminum Acetate in the product line.
